From the Principal

Dear Parents, Guardians and Community Members

Welcome back to Term 2 and a warm welcome to the many new families who have joined our school this week, we look forward to you being part of school community.

At the end of last term our student councillors lead our school ANZAC assembly to commemorate those who have served our country. All students then laid a flower at the flag pole as a sign of respect.

Next week is our school Book Fair it is a great opportunity for students and their families to purchase a large range of books and other items. The Book Fair will be from Monday 1 May to Thursday 4 May in the library. Parents/Carers are welcome to visit the book fair before and after school, 8.30am to 4pm, during their child’s library time or just pop in throughout the day. Profits made from the book fair will go back into our library budget to buy new books for our library.

We have had a number of staff changes, commencing

We sincerely thank Mrs Weadley for her work in our school over the past 6 years and we wish her all the best in her new position.
Mr Steve Freeman is on leave and will be retiring at the end of his leave. We thank Mr Freeman for the many years he has taught in our school and the opportunities he provided our students. Mrs Emily Cox will be teaching in Room 12 for the reminder of the year. We welcome Mrs Cox to our school.
Mrs Jill Compton, our Manager of Corporate Services (MCS), is also on leave and retiring. Mrs Compton has been a fundamental part of our school administration, supporting students and staff for many years, and we wish her all the best. Mrs Robin Marwick has taken on the MCS role for this year.
