Principal’s Update

Dear Parents, Carers and Community Members,

As we reach the end of what has been a busy and successful term, I’d like to acknowledge the hard work and commitment shown by both students and sta?. Everyone has earned a well-deserved break, and I hope the holidays bring time for rest and recharge.

Last week, many of our Year 3 – 6 students had the opportunity to represent Yakamia Primary School in two community events. While some students were participating at the Interschool Cross Country, others took part in an excursion to the Albany Entertainment Centre as members of the YPS Choir. There, they recorded vocals as part of our exciting collaboration with Breaksea.

Next week, we will celebrate NAIDOC Week, with a range of activities running across the school. It’s always a highlight of the year, and I’m looking forward to seeing students from different classes and year levels working and learning together as they participate in these events.

Congratulations to all students who took part. You represented our school with pride.
