Dear Parents, Guardians and Community Members

Last week we had our Pre-Primary and Pursuit of Excellence Assembly.

Congratulations to all Pursuit of Excellence winners this year. Two students from each class were awarded with either an academic or citizenship award for pursuing excellence in these areas throughout the year. We also had a Junior and Senior PoE award for each Specialist Learning Area. Well done to those students for your wonderful efforts. Please see inside the newsletter for all PoE winners.

The Student Councillors for 2025 were announced at the PoE assembly. Congratulations to: Scarlett Newby (Head Councillor), Elijah Field (Head Councillor), Hamish Button, Reef Button, Kyran Benson, Patrick McWhirter, Madison Casey and Sienna Pilgram. We look forward to you representing and leading our students next year.

Today we announced our House Captains for 2025 who will be formally announced at our first assembly in 2025. Congratulations to:

  • Karrak—Katie Levingston, Austin Roberts
  • Kardar—Sam Dawe, Franki Tieman
  • Quenda—Joe Nangle, Poppy Slater

We also announced our Waste Warriors who will be formally announced at the first assembly next year. With so many great applications and commitment to assisting to be a waste wise school, we have divided this role in to Semester 1 and 2. Congratulations and well done to these students.

Semester 1 Waste Warriors: Joseph Lawler, Avery Coleman, Farren Cox, Esta Drew, Clara Fiander, Bailee Bolton, Samantha Conway, Phoebe Biglin.

Semester 2 Waste Warriors: Ava Stamp, Dayna Johnson, Ruby Wellstead, Emily Liu, Tommy Eades, Sophia Basten, Phoebe Powell, Maddison Townsend.

On Thursday last week we celebrated our Year Six students with their graduation. This was a wonderful opportunity to reflect on students achievements over their primary school years and to wish them well as they enter high school. Thank you to Mrs Sandy, Mrs Tierney, Mrs Elmer, Mr Richardson and Mr Mackenzie for your organisation of these special event.

Congratulations to our graduating Year 6 students, we wish you all the best. Swimming commenced this week. Well done to students for showing great organisation and positive behaviour during lessons. Keep it up!
