From the Principal

Dear Parents, Carers and Community Members,

Today we celebrated Harmony Day with students and staff wearing orange to recognise Australia’s cultural diversity, and encourage inclusiveness, respect and a sense of belonging for all Australians. Classes did a range of activities for Harmony Day, celebrating our differences and that we all belong. It was wonderful the see the sea of orange across the school.

Wheely Fun Day & Ride 2 School Day

Next week we will celebrate reaching 2500 turtle tickets with a Wheely Fun Day on Thursday 27 March (Kindy A & B will be on Friday 28 March), which also coincides with Ride 2 School Day. Students are encouraged to bring their bikes, scooters or skates to school on this day. More information will be sent home next week.

Staff School Development Day

A reminder that at the beginning of Term 2 our Staff School Development Day (students do not attend) is on Friday 2 May. All other schools in Albany will have their day on the Monday. We have a different date due to Candice from Real Schools only being able to attend on the Friday. We are looking forward to welcoming Candice back to our school and continuing our journey of supporting our students with a restorative approach and building a strong positive school culture.

Week 8 Assembly

Our next assembly will be Friday 28 March and will be hosted by Room 26. All families are welcome to attend.
