Last week the Yakamia PS P&C held their AGM, and I am pleased to announce that all key positions were filled. I would like to thank the outgoing committee members for all of their support, work and dedication to our school and students and welcome the new committee. To see the Executive members of the P&C please see the P&C page in the newsletter. The P&C would like to welcome anyone who would like to join the P&C and look forward to seeing more new faces at their next meeting.
Each year we ask for parents to pay school Contributions to support their child’s education. The contributions for each child are: Pre Primary to Year 6—$60, Kindergarten—$50 This payment helps provide additional resources for our students so we are able to provide books, paper, Science and Art supplies. Contributions can be paid off on a payment plan organised with the school Manager of Corporate Services, in a lump sum or with Centrepay.
Payments can be made by cash, cheque or direct deposit into our account: Yakamia Primary School; BSB: 016-510, A/C: 340823089. Thank you for your support in making these payments.
Congratulations to Amelia and Kevin Lazar who won the P&C Christmas Bike Raffle donated by Rebecca Stephen MLA at the end of last year. A fantastic prize to win!
Kind regards
